Family
This past weekend Jason and I threw a bbq for the whole family!! We had such a great time. Although it did rain for a bit, no one seemed to mind, and we went on eating, laughing, and playing games. We had SO MUCH food! It was crazy, I barely had room on the counters. But who can pass up good food? I hope everyone enjoyed themselves! Thank you to all of the family who made it..and to Shel, thanks for helping me get prepared!
City Market
Jason and I headed to the City Market Farmer's Market last Saturday! We had so much fun. The best fruits, veggies, breads, flowers, seafood, herbs, ...you name it, they have it, and its cheap and delicious! The place was so crowded and obviously very popular. I never want to buy from the store again! Headed back whenever we can!
New Tattoo
Ok, weird picture I know. But Jason got a new tattoo. Ignore the black outline. He designed and drew this, took it to the tattoo place, and whal-la...done. Let's just say it's covering up another tattoo, I won't say what. However, I will tell you my nickname for the old tat...Rosie! And she is gone! YA!! If you can't figure out what this is...a coyote, for all of you city people.
Nelson-Atkins Museum
I took Jason to the Nelson Atkins Museum of Art last weekend. And if you have never been, you need to go. It's HUGE, as you can tell by the picture. Most people probably don't realize that this amazing place exists in Kansas City! They have even added a seperate wing with more Contemporary Art. Very cool. And you can even eat there at one of the two dining places. The grounds surrounding the museam are fabulous and a great place to relax!
Hunter Dancing...
So this is the video of Hunter dancing on the patio table. Sorry it's the side view-but you can totally get the picture! Hilarious!
Mom, Shelli, Hunter and I were all able to get together to FINALLY celebrate Mother's Day! We were off to Timbercreek to eat dinner; we sat out on their wonderful patio which is where the we took the awesome family photo! And then we had some fun at my house. As you can see, Hunter really enjoyed "dancing" on the patio table; and particularly around the umbrella "pole"-which we all found soooo hysterical!
